frozen state using dry ice. Please call us to coordinate the shipping and
receiving of samples that are iced or frozen in order to minimize the chance of
warming or spoilage. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5
PM (Pacific Standard Time).

Turnaround Times
The normal time required for completion of sample testing is 10 business days (two weeks)
maximum, with the following exceptions:
Normal turnaround time for microbiology testing is 5 business days (one week).
Special 1 - 2 day turnaround is available for E. coli O157:H7, Listeria,
Clostridium botulinum and
Salmonella using real-time PCR technology. Call us for details.
Please allow 15 business days (three weeks) for the
completion of FDA Nutrition Labels.
A few pesticide analyses (e.g., Glyphosate, Admire, Basagran, imidazolinone
and sulfonylurea herbicides) may require up to15 business days, depending on
laboratory workload. Since these tests require more time to complete, we try to
schedule them in batches.
EXPEDITED TURNAROUND
Our workload may be scheduled a week or more in advance, generally in the order
that samples are received. Since expedited turnaround often requires overtime or overnight ordering and shipping of supplies, we apply surcharges to the
normal price of analyses to cover the added expense as follows:
Rush: Analysis completed in 4 - 6 business
days for an additional 50% of normal price.
Priority Rush: Analysis completed in 1 - 3
business days for an additional 100% of normal price. This
may not always be possible, therefore, please call the lab before shipping
samples to verify that the analysis can be completed in this short of a
time period.
FDA Nutrition Labels may be completed within 10 business days for a 50%
surcharge.
Sampling, Sample Sizes and Preservation
Please call us if you have questions concerning sampling, sample sizes or
preservation of samples. These factors can vary so widely that it is not
practical to give a recommendation that can apply to all situations.
